HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN VLOGGING?
Cait - A little bit over a year
Shannon - 3 months

WHY DID YOU START? WHAT INSPIRED YOU?
Cait - I had been watching youtube videos for a while and I thought it would be fun and that I would be good at it. I really enjoy fashion and style, and this is another creative outlet for me.
Shannon - Cait inspired me! She had been making videos for a while and I saw that she was not only having fun and doing something she loved, but also making friends through youtube.

LET'S TALK ABOUT YOUR FIRST LOOK. WHAT ARE YOU WEARING?
Cait - This dress is the perfect combo of girly and edgy. I paired it with black wedges and the coolest sunglasses ever...I didn't want to take it off!
Shannon - What's cooler than a leopard print dress with cut outs? Accessorized with a hat and leather booties, I can wear the outfit day or night!

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR PERSONAL STYLE?
Cait - My style is kind of beachy, kind of bohemian with a touch of punk at times... it honestly depends how I’m feeling that day.
Shannon - I guess my style is very stereotypical “California”. It’s casual with a beachy vibe, but I also get inspiration from LA street style. Its a good mix.

WHO ARE YOUR FASHION ICONS?
Cait - I can’t just pick one person! I admire different things about multiple peoples style. If you mixed Miley Cyrus with Nicole Richie and they were going to the beach, thats my style.
Shannon - When it comes to Fashion, I mostly look at surfers for inspiration. I love Monyca Byrne-Wickey’s carefree laid back look, but I also love Miley Cyrus’ style, who doesn’t?!

WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT YOUR SECOND OUTFIT?
Cait - I love the cool print of this dress and had to wear it! Putting the denim vest and boots with it made it totally wearable for daytime and the tote adds a great pop of color.
Shannon - I love to mix girly with tomboy. The bright sweater combined with the edgy leather skirt and converse is a perfect example of that. The winged sunglasses add a cool, funky touch.

WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN YOU’RE NOT VLOGGING?
Cait - I am a member of the Redbull Wings team and I’m spending time with my boyfriend, family, and friends.
Shannon - I am going to be a senior in high school this year and I am on the varsity cheer squad. If I’m not at cheer practice I’m hanging out with my friends or hopefully surfing with my dad.

WHAT SUMMER TRENDS CAN YOU NOT GET ENOUGH OF?
We’ve been cleaning out our local thrift stores of high waisted jeans and cutting them into shorts. We’ve also been loving the americana trend and wearing tons of rings and bracelets.

WHAT TRENDS ARE YOU LOOKING FORWARD TO FOR FALL?
Cait - For Fall, I always get really excited about wearing boots and big oversized sweaters.
Shannon - Not really anything! I wish it could be Summer all year long.

WHAT MADE YOU CHOOSE THE ITEMS FOR YOUR FINAL LOOK?
Cait - This is definitely an everyday look for me...casual with the shorts and shirt. I love the hat for the color and just threw on some cool sneakers.
Shannon - I'm in love with the lace skulls kimono! Pairing it with a black studded bandeau and tie-dye, high waisted shorts make this outfit absolute perfection.

WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS FOR THE FUTURE?
Cait - Honestly, thats a really hard question to answer. I had no idea starting a youtube channel could possibly lead to a career. I hope to do something in fashion like styling, we’ll see.
Shannon - I have no idea yet considering I’m 17, but I’d love to work in “surf fashion”. Maybe I’ll work for Roxy, Billabong or Foam magazine someday!
